If I had a dollar for every time the phone rang and the conversation started off with "I know you don't make tire recommendations...BUT..." I could retire early and live high on the hog. Haha! We cover our reasoning behind this fairly extensively in our FAQ section (If you're one of the many that haven't read through it, please do, we spent a lot of time writing it and it's full of some really beneficial information and answers to the most commonly asked questions.), but long answer short, there are just too many variables of what makes the "right" tire for everyone and their wants/needs. So in an attempt to allow us to step away from the phone a little and get back to doing what we do best (designing and manufacturing new parts for the Prius) we spent the money to have some people that are much smarter than us design an app that would take your specific tire needs and spit out a few recommendations based off of those needs. It's still the first of it's kind and in the early stages of development but so far it's been pretty spot on with its recommendations and allows us to get back to work.
